How does any of this relate to the color purple?

The first reason is because our founder's then 3-year-old daughter chose the name (Joyce believes children are the heart of the universe. She believes children should be brought up with security and the confidence their imagination will be rewarded). Second, colors are a perfect way to start teaching children in another language. Our students will have fun learning how to say the name of their school in different languages. Third, purple is an amalgamation of lots of colors which fits nicely with our mission to promote and celebrate multi-culturalism. Finally (and this is our attorney-founder's thing), it's whimsical enough to support a trademark application.
