Chen
Chen Zhu graduated from University of Washington with a Master’s Degree in Teaching in 2009. She is certified to teach both Chinese and English in the Washington state. A native of Jiangsu Province, China, she came to the United States in 1998 to pursue further studies at UC Berkeley. Previously a radio journalist, she switched to education because she found that teaching in a classroom is more fun than attending a press conference. As for early childhood education in foreign languages, she believes in immersion and total physical response methods. Sing, dancing, and gaming are fun!
